Brewing HERBAL Tea with a TEAPOT
After brewing, strain the tea to remove the tea leaves. Serve the cold brewed tea over ice and sweeten as desired — you can add honey, date syrup, any berries or citrus fruits. Store the remaining cold tea in the fridge for up to 2−3 days.
In a large pitcher or jar, combine one liter of cold water with 10−15g of tea. Close the jar and put it in the fridge. Allow the tea to infuse for 6−12 hours. You can taste the tea at each stage of brewing to get the strength you want and choose the best time.
Cold brew tea recipe
Sagan-dailya (other names: sagan-dali, fragrant Ledum, Buryat tea, white wing, Adams' rhododendron) is a branching shrub that is common in high mountainous areas: in the Far East, Buryatia, Mongolia, Khabarovsk Krai, Altai, as well as in China, India, and Tibet.

From the history:

The shrub has long been known to Buryat shamans as a plant in which the great spirit of the mountains lives. It is said that the emperors of the Celestial Empire used it to promote health and prolong life, shamans treated almost all diseases with it, and warriors who used it gained truly unearthly strength. In the past, sagan-dailya was available only to the upper classes - now it can be tasted by everyone.

More than 250 years ago Johann Georg Gmelin, a naturalist from Germany, mentioned in his writings a decoction of sagan-daila twigs, which the participants of his expedition drank to energize themselves for the whole day. So the whole world learned about the Buryat miracle.

Russian herbalists and Tibetan monks have long brewed honey with healing properties, which was highly valued in folk medicine. Such honey is brewed from the upper parts of twigs with leaves and flowers, and the secret recipe of honey is sacredly kept by shamans and monks. Of all the remedies that can be prepared with sagan-daila herb, folk medicine prefers honey.
